Nr Biggleswade, road traffic collision – Magpas called to scene

At 11.22pm last night (6th), Magpas Doctor Zoe Smeed and Paramedic Simon Standen arrived south of Biggleswade via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a road traffic collision involving a car which ended up in a ditch.

The Magpas team assessed a man (in his late teens) who had suffered serious head injuries. The Magpas Doctor and Paramedic anaesthetised the patient (providing him with specialist A&E care on the scene), before accompanying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the man was in a serious but stable condition.

EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews, Fire and Rescue Services, and the Police were also on the scene.

This is all the information we have.
