At 10:08am this morning (15th) Magpas Doctor Sam Todd and Paramedic Dan Read landed in a rural location west of Bassingbourn. They had been called to treat a young girl who was suffering from severe breathing difficulties.
The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the girl and provided her with early treatment at the scene, consisting of advanced medical care, before accompanying her to Addenbrooke’s Hospital via land ambulance. She was in a stable condition upon arrival.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.
