Near Ely, young girl suffers arm injury – Magpas Helimedix fly to her

At 11.17am this morning (24th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah Hazleman and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived near Ely via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance. A young girl had suffered an injury to her lower arm.

The Helimedix assessed the patient and provided her with advanced pain relief. The Team then accompanied the patient to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a stable condition.

The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Simon Standen.

An EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew were also on the scene.
