At 9:49am this morning (12th) Magpas Doctor Scott Castell, Paramedic Ollie Robinson and Doctor Anne Booth landed in Milton Keynes via the Magpas Air Ambulance. They had been called to treat a woman who had been injured in a collision between two cars.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in her 50’s) who had sustained serious injuries. They helped to safely extricate the woman and gave her advanced pain relief at the scene (providing her with A&E level care). A SCAS Ambulance Service paramedic crew then took her to Luton and Dunstable Hospital in a stable condition.

The helicopter crew who flew the medical team were Pilot Gabriel Barton and Crewmember Rob Davies.

The Thames Valley Police and Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance.
