Mildenhall, man suffers cardiac arrest – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to him

At 12:53pm this afternoon (21st) Magpas Doctor David Leverton and Paramedic Alex Pearce landed in Mildenhall via the Magpas Air Ambulance. They had been called to treat a man who had suffered a cardiac arrest.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 50’s) and placed him into a medically induced coma at the scene (providing him with A&E level care), before accompanying the man to West Suffolk Hospital via land ambulance. He was in a very serious but stable condition upon arrival.

The helicopter crew who flew the medical team were Pilot Chris Sherriff and Crewmember Rob Davies.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.
