Market Deeping, car vs tree – Magpas Helimedix called to scene
At 2:38pm this afternoon (18th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nathan Howes and Paramedic Ash Richardson) arrived in Market Deeping via a Magpas Rapid Response BMW. A car had left the road and collided into a tree, leaving a man (in his 60’s) trapped inside the vehicle.
The Helimedix sedated the patient who suffered serious body injuries. After providing the man with trauma care at the scene, the Magpas team worked alongside a Fire & Rescue Crew, the Police and Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews from EEAST and EMAS – to remove the man safely from the car he was in. A Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance crew then flew the man, in a serious but stable condition, to Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham for further treatment.
