At 11:20am this morning (10th) Magpas Doctor Rupert Hurry and Paramedic Alex Pearce landed in Marham via the Magpas Air Ambulance. They had been called to treat a man who had been injured in an incident involving industrial machinery.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 20’s) who had suffered a serious leg injury. They gave the man advanced pain relief at the scene (providing him with A&E level care) before airlifting him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. He was in a stable condition upon arrival.

The helicopter crew, who flew the patient and medical team, were Pilot Chris Sherriff and Crewmember George Phillips.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.
