March, woman injured in fall from motorcycle – Magpas Air Ambulance called to scene

At 17.05pm on Monday evening (11th), Magpas Doctor Dave Leverton and Paramedic Dan Cody arrived in March, via the rapid response vehicle, to treat a woman who had fallen off her motorcycle.

The Magpas team assessed woman (in her 20s) who had suffered an injury to her leg. They sedated the patient and provided her with advanced pain relief (giving A&E level care at the scene). The team then accompanied the woman by land ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital, where she was in a stable condition upon arrival.

Cambridgeshire Police and EEAST Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
