March woman goes into cardiac arrest – Magpas Helimedix fly to her

This afternoon (9th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah Hazleman, Paramedic Steve Chambers and Paramedic Dan Cody) flew to a residential address in the March area. They arrived at 3:46pm via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance, after a woman (in her 30’s) went into cardiac arrest.

The Magpas team provided advanced life support for the patient and administered specialist drugs, before accompanying her by land ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital (monitoring her condition all the way). On arrival at the hospital, the woman was in a serious but stable condition.

The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Simon Amos.

An EEAST Ambulance Crew and an EEAST Ambulance Rapid Response Paramedic were also present. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have at present.
