March man suffers chest injuries – Magpas Helimedix fly to him
At 1:57pm on this afternoon (19th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Alex Cross, Paramedic Chris Hawkins and Doctor Simon Lewis) arrived at a street in central March, via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance – after a man (in his 30’s) suffered chest injuries.
The Magpas team assessed the patient and worked alongside Cambridgeshire Police to provide specialist treatment for him. The Helimedix then accompanied the man, in a land ambulance, to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. On arrival at the hospital, he was in a stable condition.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Steve Hunwicks.
An EEAST Ambulance Crew was also present. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.
