March man goes into cardiac arrest – Magpas Helimedix called to him
At 7:37pm yesterday evening (11th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Alexandra Cross and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived in March via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after a man (in his 60’s) went into cardiac arrest.
When the Magpas team arrived, an EEAST Ambulance Paramedic Crew had resuscitated the patient. The Helimedix then provided the man with critical A&E level care, before accompanying him in a land ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital, monitoring his condition all the way. On arrival at the hospital, the patient was in a stable but critical condition.
A Community First Responder and an EEAST Ambulance Service Rapid Response Paramedic were also present. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together. The Magpas Helimedix team would especially like to thank the EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedics for their excellent team work.
This is all the information we have at present.
