Magpas Helimedix fly man from King’s Lynn to Addenbrooke’s Hospital

At 7:30pm (21st), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Phil Morgan and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn, via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance. They were called to assist with a man (in his 30’s), who was in urgent need of time critical, neuro-surgery at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

The Magpas team flew the patient to the Major Trauma Centre in Cambridge, first accompanying the man to the A&E department and then onto the neuro theatres.

The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to and from both hospitals (with the patient) was: Pilot Craig Redman and Crew Member George Phillips.
