Magpas Helimedix attend footballer in Ely

At approximately 9pm last night (22nd July), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Jon Birks and Paramedic Alex Pearce) arrived in Ely, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after two footballers had collided with each other.

The Magpas team assessed one of the players who had sustained an injury. The Helimedix team administered strong pain relief and then accompanied the man (in his 20s), in a Land Ambulance, to Addenbrooke’s  Hospital. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a stable condition. The other player was uninjured.

This is all the information we have at present.
