M25 Dartford, lorry vs lorry – Magpas Helimedix called to scene
At 5.50am Thursday morning (18th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah Hazleman and Paramedic Alex Pearce) arrived on the M25 in the Dartford area via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW, following a road traffic collision between two lorries.
The Helimedix assessed a man (in his 30’s) who had suffered serious leg injuries. The Magpas team sedated the patient (providing specialist A&E care at the scene), before working alongside Fire and Rescue Services to help safely remove the man from the vehicle he was in. The Helimedix then accompanied the patient to Darent Valley Hospital by land ambulance, where on arrival he was in a stable condition.
EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews, a HART Team and the Police were also present.
