M1 nr Luton, single vehicle collision – Magpas called to scene

At 8.37pm last night (27th), Magpas Doctor Leigh Bissett and Paramedic Alex Pearce arrived north of Luton on the M1, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a road traffic collision involving a single vehicle, which left a woman (in her teens) trapped inside the vehicle.

The Magpas team assessed the patient who had sustained multiple injuries. The Magpas Doctor and Paramedic sedated the woman (providing her with specialist A&E care on the scene), before working to safely remove her from the vehicle. The Magpas team then accompanied the patient to Luton and Dunstable Hospital by land ambulance, where on arrival she was in a serious condition.

EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews, Fire and Rescue Services, and the Police were also on the scene.

This is all the information we have.
