M1 Junction 12, two HGVs collide – Magpas called to scene

LOW-RES---BMWs-and-Helicopter-1_20160211-104238_1.jpgAt 12.14am on Wednesday morning (10th), Magpas Doctor Lee Soomaroo and Paramedic Ollie Robinson arrived at Junction 12 of the M1 in Bedfordshire via the Magpas Rapid Response vehicle following a road traffic collision involving two HGVs.

The Magpas team treated a man (in his 30s) who had suffered a leg injury. The Magpas team sedated the man and worked alongside the Fire and Rescue Service and EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew to safely remove the patient from the vehicle. The patient was subsequently taken by the ambulance service to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

Bedfordshire Police were also present.
