Leighton Buzzard, woman suffers leg injury – Magpas Helimedix called to her
At 1.48am this morning (3rd) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nathan Howes and Paramedic Oliver Robinson) arrived in Leighton Buzzard via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after a woman (in her 60’s) suffered a serious leg injury.
The Helimedix assessed the patient and sedated her (providing specialist A&E care). The Magpas team then worked alongside an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew to move the woman safely into a land ambulance. The Helimedix accompanied the patient to Milton Keynes Hospital, where on arrival she was in a stable condition.
The Magpas team would like to thank the EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedics for their excellent team work.
