At 2:30am this morning (21st) Magpas Doctor Steve Corry-Bass and Paramedic Steve Chambers arrived in Langdon Hills via a Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a woman who had been injured in a single vehicle collision.
The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in her 20’s) who had sustained multiple injuries. They placed her into a medically induced coma at the scene (providing her with A&E level care), before accompanying her to Royal London Hospital via land ambulance. The patient was in a stable condition upon arrival.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew, Essex Police, Essex Fire and Rescue Service and a Hazardous Area Response Team were also in attendance.
