Kettering, car and motorcycle collision – Magpas called to scene
At 10.37pm last night (7th), Magpas Doctor Zoe Smeed and Paramedic Simon Standen arrived in Kettering via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car.
The Magpas team assessed a man (in his 20’s) who had suffered serious head injuries. The Magpas Doctor and Paramedic anaesthetised the patient (providing him with critical A&E level care on the scene), before accompanying him to University Hospital Coventry by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the man was in a serious but stable condition.
East Midlands Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews, Fire and Rescue Services, and the Police were also on the scene.
