Huntingdon woman suffers serious hip injury – Magpas Helimedix called to her
At 11:14am yesterday morning (12th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Foster and Paramedic Simon Standen) arrived at a residential area in central Huntingdon, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after a woman (in her 60’s) suffered an acute injury to her hip.
The Magpas team gave the patient A&E level care in order to rectify her injury, whilst working alongside an EEAST Ambulance Paramedic Crew and a HART Crew who helped move the woman safely out of the building she was in. The Helimedix then accompanied the patient to Hinchingbrooke Hospital in a land ambulance, where on arrival she was in a stable condition.
A second EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew was also present. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.
