At 9.53pm on Monday evening (4th), Magpas Doctor Rupert Hurry and Paramedic Dan Read arrived in Huntingdon, via the rapid response vehicle, to treat a woman who had fallen down a flight of stairs.
The Magpas team assessed the woman (in her 60s) who had sustained a serious head injury. The team anaesthetised the patient (providing her with A&E level specialist care at the scene). She was then taken by land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a stable condition.
EEAST Ambulance Service was also in attendance.
