Huntingdon, road traffic incident – Magpas Helimedix fly to scene

At 2.41pm yesterday (5th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Alex Cross and Paramedic Simon Standen) arrived in the Huntingdon area via the Magpas Air Ambulance – following a road traffic collision involving a motorbike and a van.

The Helimedix assessed two patients – a man (in his 50’s) and a woman (in her 50’s) who had both suffered body injuries. The Magpas team worked alongside an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew to provide the patients with pain relief, before they were taken by the EEAST crew to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in stable conditions.

The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Pilot Craig Redman and Crew Member Steve Hunwicks.

The Police were also on the scene.

This is all the information we have.
