Huntingdon man suffers serious hand injury – Magpas Helimedix called out

At 10:12am yesterday morning (4th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Alex Cross and Paramedic Kier Rutherford) arrived in Huntingdon via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW. A man (in his 60’s) suffered a severe hand injury, whilst using a saw.

The Magpas team assessed the patient and administered specialist antibiotics, whilst working alongside an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic crew. The man was then taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a stable condition, by land ambulance.

All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have at present.
