At 7:33pm yesterday evening (3rd) Magpas Doctor Charlotte Haldane and Paramedic Alex Pearce arrived in Huntingdon via a Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a man who had gone into cardiac arrest.
The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 70’s) who had suffered a cardiac arrest and placed him into a medically induced coma at the scene (providing him with A&E level care). They then accompanied him to Papworth Hospital via land ambulance where he was in a critical condition upon arrival.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.
