Huntingdon, 2x men fall from roof – Magpas Helimedix called to them

At 2:16pm on Saturday afternoon (22nd), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nathan Howes and Paramedic Dan Phillips) arrived in the area around Pidley via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after two men suffered falls from a second floor roof, at a significant height.

The Magpas team assessed the patients. A man (in his 40’s) suffered injuries to his lower arm and a second man (in his 70’s) suffered minor injuries to his back. Fortunately, neither patient endured life threatening injuries, but they were still taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital by land ambulance for further observation.

Two EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews, an EEAST Ambulance Service Rapid Response Paramedic and an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Officer were also present, alongside numerous Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Crews. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have at present.
