Holbeach, man injured in 2x vehicle collision – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to the scene

At 8.00am on Saturday morning (7th), Magpas Doctor Rupert Hurry and Paramedic Alex Pearce landed in Holbeach, via the Magpas air ambulance, to treat a man who had been injured in a collision involving two vehicles.

The Magpas medical team assessed the man (in his 40s), who had sustained a neck injury. The patient was given pain relief and removed from the vehicle, then flown to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham.

The helicopter crew who flew the medical team were Pilot Andy Figg and Crewmember Lee Kennedy.

An EMAS Ambulance Service paramedic crew, Lincolnshire Police and Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance.
