Hemel Hempstead serious car & motorbike collision, A41 – Magpas Helimedix called out

At 12:51am in the early hours of this morning (18th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Scott and Paramedic Dan Cody) arrived near the A41 in the Hemel Hempstead area, via the Magpas Helimedix Rapid Response BMW – after a motorbike and car collided.

The Magpas team anaesthetised a man (in his 50’s) who suffered multiple injuries. After the Helimedix provided the patient with specialist A&E level care at the scene, they accompanied the man to Watford Hospital and then onto St Mary’s Hospital in London. On arrival at the hospital, the patient was in a critical condition.

EEAST Ambulance Crews and Hertfordshire Police were also present. The Emergency Services worked extremely well together.
