Hemel Hempstead house fire – Magpas Helimedix called out

At 8:58pm last night (28th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nathan Howes and Paramedic Keir Rutherford) arrived at a residential address in Hemel Hempstead, in the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a house fire. A man (in his 70’s) and a very elderly woman suffered smoke inhalation.

The Magpas team assessed both patients, whilst working alongside an EEAST Ambulance Paramedic Crew at the scene. The man and woman were given oxygen and then taken to Watford Hospital, in a stable condition, by land ambulance.

An EEAST Ambulance Senior Duty Paramedic and a team from HART were also present. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have at present.
