Great Gidding, man falls from tree – Magpas Helimedix called to scene
At 11:45am yesterday morning (4th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah Hazleman and Paramedic Dan Cody) arrived in the Great Gidding area via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance – after a man (in his 50’s) suffered a fall from a tree.
The Magpas team assessed the patient who endured lower body injuries. The Helimedix administered enhanced pain relief, before the man was taken to Peterborough City Hospital in a stable condition, by land ambulance.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member George Phillips.
An EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew and an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Officer were also present. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.
