Godmanchester, woman sustains serious leg injury – Magpas Air Ambulance called to scene

At 11.21am yesterday (3rd) Magpas Doctor Mark Tehan and Paramedic Dan Read arrived in Godmanchester via a Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a woman with a serious leg injury.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the woman (in her 60’s) who had sustained a serious ankle injury. They sedated her at the scene (providing the patient with A&E level care) to protect her injuries. The doctor and paramedic team then accompanied the woman to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon via land ambulance. She was in a stable condition upon arrival.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew was also in attendance,
