Godmanchester 3x car collision – Magpas Helimedix called out

At 8:13am this morning (21st), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nathan Howes and Paramedic Dan Cody) arrived at the A1198 near Godmanchester, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after three cars were involved in a road traffic incident.

The Magpas team assessed a woman (in her 50’s) who was trapped inside one of the vehicles. A Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Crew then removed the car door, so the woman to get out safely. Fortunately this patient didn’t suffer any serious injuries and was allowed to go home.

The Helimedix team also assessed a man (in his 50’s) who suffered chest and stomach pains. This patient was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital by an EEAST Ambulance Crew, in a stable condition, for further investigation.

All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have at present.
