Gamlingay, man involved in gas explosion – Magpas called to him
At 6.05am this morning (24th), Magpas Doctor Lee Soomaroo and Paramedic Chris Hawkins arrived in Gamlingay via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW, after a man (in his 60’s) was involved in a gas explosion.
The Magpas team assessed the patient who had suffered serious burns. The Magpas Doctor and Paramedic then provided the man with pain relief, before accompanying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a serious condition.
Fire and Rescue Services, the Police, and EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews were also on the scene.
