Flitwick, car and pedestrian collision – Magpas Helimedix fly to scene
At 12.00pm today (14th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Raluca Ionescu and Paramedic Dan Cody) arrived in Flitwick via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance, after there was a road traffic incident involving a car and a pedestrian.
The Helimedix assessed a female patient (in her 70’s) who had suffered a head injury. The patient was then taken in a stable condition to Bedford Hospital by an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Steve Hunwicks.
Fire and Rescue Services and the Police were also on the scene.
