Fen Drayton, young child suffers head injury – Magpas Helimedix fly to him
At 1.35pm on Saturday (23rd) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Scott and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived in the Fen Drayton area via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance. A very young boy had suffered a fall, leaving him with a head injury.
The Helimedix assessed the patient and then accompanied him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the boy was in a stable condition.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member George Phillips.
EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews were also on the scene.
