Ely man suffers chest pain – Magpas Helimedix fly to scene
At 1:58pm Sunday afternoon, Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Phil Morgan and Paramedic Rob Riches) arrived at a residential address between Stetham and Ely, via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance – after reports of a man (in his 50’s) suffering from severe chest pain.
The Magpas team were the first on the scene. They assessed the patient, before an EEAST Ambulance Crew took the man to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in a stable condition, in a Land Ambulance.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene: Pilot Jim Polwarth and Crew Member Rob Davies.
An EEAST Ambulance Rapid Response Paramedic was also present. All the Emergency Services worked well together.
