At 6.46am this morning (28th), Magpas Doctor Scott Knapp and Paramedic Dan Read arrived in Ely, via the Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a man who had gone into cardiac arrest.
The Magpas medical team resuscitated the man (in his 40’s) before placing him in an induced coma (providing him with A&E level care). The team then accompanied him by land ambulance to Papworth Hospital. He was in a serious condition upon arrival at hospital.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.
