Eltisley, road traffic incident – Magpas Helimedix fly to scene

At 8.17am today (21st) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Scott and Paramedic Ash Richardson) arrived in the Eltisley area via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance, after there were reports of a road traffic collision involving a motorbike and a car.

The Helimedix assessed a male patient (in his 40’s) who had suffered serious body injuries. The Magpas team provided the patient with pain relief, before accompanying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a land ambulance (monitoring him all the way). On arrival at the hospital the man was in a serious but stable condition.

The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Steve Crawford.

An EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew, Cambridgeshire Police and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Services were also on the scene.

This is all the information we have.
