At 5.49pm (yesterday) Magpas Doctor Richard Booker and Paramedic Chris Hawkins arrived in Eaton Socon via the Magpas Air Ambulance. They had been called to treat a man who had been injured in a fall from a height.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 60’s) who had sustained an arm injury. They provided the man with pain relief and splinted his injuries so he could be safely transferred to Hinchingbrooke Hospital via land ambulance by the EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew who were also in attendance. He was in a stable condition upon arrival.

The helicopter crew who flew the medical team were Pilot Matt Tacon and Crewmember Lee Kennedy.
