Dunstable, serious road traffic incident – Magpas Helimedix called to scene
At 4.58am this morning (24th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Scott and Paramedic Dan Cody) arrived in the Dunstable area via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a severe road traffic incident involving a single car.
The Helimedix assessed a young man (in his late teens) who had suffered a head and chest injury. The Magpas team anaesthetised the patient (providing specialist A&E care at the scene) before accompanying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a serious but stable condition.
An EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew and the Police were also on the scene.
