At 11:29am this morning (31st) Magpas Doctor Jon Barratt, Paramedic Dan Cody and Doctor VJ Sankar, landed in Dunstable via the Magpas Air Ambulance. They had been called to treat a man who had been injured in a fall from height.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 70’s) who had sustained a serious leg injury. They sedated him at the scene to protect his injuries (providing him with A&E level care) before airlifting the man to Luton and Dunstable Hospital. He was in a stable condition upon arrival.

The helicopter crew who flew our medical team and patient were Pilot Andy Figg and Crewmember Lee Kennedy.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.

We have no further information.
