Corby, man injured in 2 x vehicle collision – Magpas called to scene

At 9.29pm on Saturday night (5th), Magpas Doctor Steve Corry-Bass and Paramedic Ollie Robinson arrived in Corby, via the rapid response car, at the scene of a collision involving two vehicles.

Upon arrival four casualties were being treated by an EMAS Ambulance Service crew, including a man (in his 30s) who was trapped inside a vehicle. The Magpas team provided the man, who had suffered a leg injury, with pain relief while Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service worked to remove the patient from the vehicle. The Magpas team then accompanied the man via land ambulance to Kettering General Hospital.

Northamptonshire Police were also in attendance.
