Chatteris lawn mower incident – Magpas Helimedix called out

Chatteris lawn mower incident – Magpas Helimedix called out

At 5:20pm yesterday evening (15th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Scott and Paramedic Ash Richardson) arrived at a field in Chatteris, via the Magpas Helimedix Rapid Response BMW – after a man’s hand got trapped in a lawn mower.

The Magpas team administered enhanced pain relief for the patient (in his 50’s), who suffered severe injuries. The Helimedix then accompanied the man to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a Land Ambulance. On arrival at the hospital, the patient was in a serious stable condition.

The Emergency Services worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have at present.
