Chatteris child suffers seizure – Magpas Helimedix attend
At 7:45pm last night (2nd), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Jon Birks and Paramedic Kier Rutherford) arrived at a residential address in Chatteris, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after a young boy suffered a seizure.
The Magpas team administered medication and fluid, and the patient’s condition improved. The Helimedix then accompanied the boy, in a Land Ambulance, to Hinchingbrooke Hospital. On arrival at the hospital, the child was in a stable condition. His family were at his side.
An EEAST Ambulance Crew and EEAST Ambulance Officer were also present.
All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.
