Chatteris, car upside down in field – Magpas Helimedix called to scene

At 1:19pm afternoon (3rd), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah Hazleman and Paramedics Rob Riches and Simon Standen) arrived in Chatteris via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW. A car had left the road and ended up on its roof in a nearby field, leaving a man (in his 20’s) trapped inside the vehicle.

The Magpas team worked alongside a Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Crew to remove the patient safely out of the car. Fortunately, the man didn’t suffer any significant injuries, but he was still taken to  Hinchingbrooke Hospital by land ambulance for further observation. His family were with him and were extremely grateful to all the Emergency Services for their help.

An EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew and an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Officer were also present. Everyone worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have.
