Car collision, Peterborough – Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance attends

At 4:34pm yesterday afternoon (3rd), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Alex Cross, Paramedic Dan Read and Doctor Rod Mackenzie) arrived in the Eye area of Peterborough, via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance – after a car left the road and collided with a fence.

The Magpas team assessed a man (in his 20’s), whilst working alongside an EEAST Ambulance Crew at the scene. Fortunately the patient didn’t suffer any serious injuries. He was subsequently taken to Peterborough City Hospital in a land ambulance (in a stable condition).

The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Adam Bright.

An EEAST Ambulance Rapid Response Paramedic, an EEAST Ambulance Officer, a Fire & Rescue Crew and the Police were also present. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have at present.
