Cambridgeshire, single car rolls over – Magpas Helimedix called to scene
At 7:11pm last night (18th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Tom Odbert and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived at the A1198 near Bourn via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW. A car was involved in a road traffic incident, resulting in it rolling onto its roof, with a woman (in her late teens) trapped inside.
The Magpas team assessed the patient, who suffered injuries to her upper body. The Helimedix worked alongside a HART Crew and an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew to remove the woman safely from of the car and administering pain relief.
The patient was then taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a stable condition by a land ambulance.
