Cambridge woman collapses – Magpas Helimedix attend
At 7:06am this morning, Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Jon Birks and Paramedic Chris Hawkins) arrived at a residential address in Cambridge, in the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after a middle aged woman suffered a collapse and was unconscious.
The Helimedix anesthetised the patient (providing her specialist A&E level care) at the scene. They then accompanied the woman, in a Land Ambulance, to Addenbrooke’s Hospital (monitoring her all the way). On arrival at the hospital, the patient was in a serious but stable condition.
An EEAST Ambulance Crew and Rapid Response Paramedic were also present. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together, Magpas Dr Jon Birks would like to thank the ambulance crew for their great teamwork.
This is all the information we have at present.
