Cambridge, single car collision – Magpas called to scene

At 8.14pm last night (17th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah McNeilly and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived in Cambridge via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a road traffic incident where a car had left the road and collided with a fence and signpost, leaving a man (in his 20’s) trapped inside the vehicle.

Emergency services worked together to safely remove the man from the car. The Magpas team then worked alongside EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews to assess the patient who had suffered multiple injuries. The Magpas Doctor and Paramedic anaesthetised the man (providing him with specialist A&E care on the scene), before accompanying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a serious condition.

This is all the information we have.
