At 2:59pm this afternoon, Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Zoe Smeed and Paramedic Ollie Robinson, together with Doctor Anne Booth) landed in central Cambridge via the Magpas Air Ambulance. A man (in his 60’s) had suffered a fall and endured a serious shoulder injury.

The Magpas Doctors and Paramedic assessed the patient and provided him with pain relief, whilst working alongside an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew. The man was then taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a land ambulance for further treatment. On arrival at the hospital, the patient was in a stable condition.

The Helicopter team who flew the Magpas medical team to the scene was: Magpas Pilot Andy Figg and Crew Member George Phillips.
