At 10.53pm last night (27th) Magpas Doctor Saad Jawaid and Paramedic Ollie Robinson arrived in Cambridge via the Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a man who had sustained a limb injury whilst practising martial arts.
The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the man (in his 30’s) who had sustained a leg injury. They sedated the patient at the scene (providing him with A&E level care) in order to protect his injuries. The team then accompanied the man to Addenbrooke’s hospital by land ambulance, he was in a stable condition upon arrival.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.
